It's a purple kind of day
wraparound warmth
in gray, overclouded skies
hot coffee or hot mint tea
sweet with honey and
the thought of you
a book, or books
surrounding because
reading is the order
in these pullover
times; I love you.
That, of course, was
the point of this purple.
